Trenton Bortz serves as the Director of ESG at Datagration, bringing over eight years of specialized experience across a diverse range of industries, including work in public health, operational compliance, and sustainable operations. Trent's recent work centers on developing and implementing ESG KPIs, goals, and strategies for publicly traded global organizations in sectors such as commercial real estate, telecommunications, grocery, insurance, and distribution.
An expert in water quality, greenhouse gas emissions, hazardous waste, and environmental reporting, Trenton's profound knowledge enables organizations to efficiently prioritize environmental strategies and reduce compliance risks. Trent began his career focusing on environmental compliance and later broadened expertise to include greenhouse gas emissions accounting during a tenure with the United Nations, after earning an MBA in Sustainability.
A comprehensive understanding of environmental, social, and governance factors has distinguished Trenton as a leader in the ESG field. Trent holds professional memberships and certifications including the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard, Visible Emissions Evaluation, and RCRA Compliance.
In addition to professional achievements, Trenton is actively involved in the local LGBT Chamber, further enriching an understanding and practice of inclusive ESG strategies. Trenton holds an MBA in Sustainability from the University of Saint Francis and a BS in Geology from Kansas State University.
