Michael Whitney

Michael Whitney is the Director of Product at Datagration. In this role, he architects the company’s product offerings, aligning market drivers and customer needs with product development planning and technology opportunities.

Michael has amassed over a decade of experience in the energy and geophysics sector, cultivating deep expertise in data-driven decision-making and strategic product development.

Previously, Michael served as a Senior Principal Consultant at Enverus and RS Energy Group, where he was pivotal in enhancing business analytics and consulting services. He focused particularly on aligning product development with client and end-user needs.

His analytical skills were honed during his tenure as a Research Analyst at Wood Mackenzie and as a Geophysicist at Tricon Geophysics.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he also served as a Geophysical Research Assistant. His career is characterized by a commitment to leveraging data insights to drive business growth and innovation in the energy sector.
