Michael Szatny

Michael Szatny serves as Sr. Director of Client Solutions for Datagration and is responsible for client implementations of Datagration’s commercial SAAS offerings.  Michael has BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and University of Houston, respectively.  Michael began his career in the process engineering software space with Aspen Technology where he held various roles including Business Consulting and Industry Marketing Manager.  Michael took his engineering software experience to the Oil & Gas domain (SLB, HAL and Baker Hughes) where he led R&D and product management activities into the newly developing “Digital Oilfield”. 

Michael also had the opportunity to open a Houston office for the UK based Process Systems Enterprise (PSE) with the objective of bringing high fidelity process modeling to the upstream Oil & Gas domain.  Michael is an author of several industry papers and patents relating to process modeling and technical workflow automation.
