Graham Makin

Graham’s 35 plus years in industry includes working as a petroleum engineer in various production, completion and well operations roles for BP, along with sales, product line, technology and marketing management in the oilfield services sector. Here he combined his technical and marketing skills, applying them to marketing communications, market research, strategy development, and organizational and cultural alignment.

Graham’s other corporate positions were with a private equity backed industrial products and oilfield service start-ups. Here he formed new sales and marketing functions, led strategy development, product line management, product development, marketing research/analytics, marketing communications and investor relations.

In his consulting work Graham has been engaged by multiple clients to research, articulate and plan the branding, commercialization and communication of several specialist product offerings in the industrial products, energy and professional services sectors.

Graham holds a Masters degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Nottingham in the UK.
