David Freer

David Freer serves as Datagration’s CFO and is responsible for the company’s finance, human resources and legal functions. David started his career with Simmons & Company International as an investment banking analyst focused on energy services and equipment mergers and acquisitions. From there he joined CSL Capital Management, a leading energy services focused private equity fund with nearly $2.0 billion in equity capital under management. He then joined Rubicon Oilfield International, a Warburg Pincus backed oilfield products manufacturer, as one of its first employees. As the company grew to over 700 employees worldwide, his role expanded to include corporate finance, corporate development, treasury, and credit and collections.

He was most recently with Reach Production Solutions, a private equity backed artificial lift technology company, where he served as CFO and COO responsible for the company’s finance and accounting, sales, operations and human resources functions. David graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting and an MS in Finance.
